Borrowfield Sunday Funday
In August 2026, our welfare and first aid teams were deployed to Borrowfield Sunday Funday on behalf of Borrowfield Community Centre.
Our team provided a designated welfare and first aid point, roaming welfare and first aid patrols, and basic fire safety cover throughout the event.
There was also a special appearance from Bumper the Bunny, our much-loved mascot, who joined the team and helped bring a bit of fun to the day!
Our first aid services were called upon during the event, but thankfully, everyone involved is now well. We were pleased to support the community and help ensure the event was a safe, enjoyable and welcoming day for everyone who attended.
Glaxosmithkline Family Picnic
At the end of July 2024, we supported the event held by GlaxoSmithKline Montrose at their annual family picnic by providing first aiders. A special guest was also in attendance, the new mascot of Angus Medical Services, Bumper the bunny, seen here practicing his CPR. A good day was had by all, fortunately the weather held, we were able to test out our new First Aid Station and were able to establish what worked and what didn’t work so well for future events. Thankfully our services were not required on this occasion and we look forward to offering our services again.
Angus Pride 2025
On the 31st of August 2025, we attended Angus Pride 2025 in Victoria Park in Arbroath. We were very fortunate to have some very nice weather for the day. We provided a Welfare service, providing bottled water, shade and Sun cream to those who needed it. Although we were providing this service for free, the generosity of the public knew no bounds that day, and we were gifted multiple donations for our services. Our mascot, Bumper, was once again in attendance and was widely received; he even took some time to show off his dance moves.
